Specialized Deliveries

Specialized Deliveries

White-glove for high-value or handling-sensitive cargo, and projects requiring non-standard coordination: permits, uncommon routes, or special handling.

WHO WE WORK WITH

A customs delay is rarely just a logistics matter.

It's a line that stops, a store that doesn't get restocked, or a product that loses shelf life. We work mainly with operations where that carries weight.

Heavy and industrial machinery

Equipment, parts, and components with non-standard dimensions or weights, permits involved, and committed downstream dates. Coordination starts before the cargo moves.

Distribution and store replenishment

Deliveries to multiple destinations, receiving windows, and schedules that don't move. Here the problem is rarely the freight: it's the coordination between origin, transit, and each delivery point.

Perishable and temperature-controlled cargo

Limited shelf life and low tolerance for delay. Route, refrigerated transport, and documentation are defined together, because here a lost day isn't recovered.

These are the operations where we add the most, not the only ones we handle. The criterion isn't your company's size: it's whether the operation repeats, carries its own complexity, or whether a failure costs you.

WHY CARDINAL POINT

A logistics partner, not another middleman.

Four concrete differences, not general promises.

Asset-light model

No owned fleet means no conflict of interest: we choose the provider that suits your cargo, not the one we need to fill.

Transparent pricing

Itemized costs from the first proposal. No surprise charges at closing.

Insurance from the quote

When applicable, cargo insurance is addressed when we quote, with its scope and exclusions. Not a surprise line at the end.

Direct, human support

When something gets complicated, you talk to a person who knows your operation and follows through. No forms in between, no autoresponders.

HOW WE WORK

One point of contact, from quote to delivery.

Cardinal Point analyzes, quotes, coordinates, and follows through. Transport, customs clearance, insurance, and warehousing are coordinated with specialized providers depending on the operation.

1

We understand your operation

Origin, destination, cargo type, timing, and restrictions. What isn't asked at the start tends to show up later as an extra cost.

2

We evaluate alternatives

Mode, route, and provider. We compare options before recommending one.

3

We present a proposal

Itemized costs, estimated transit times, and what is excluded. When applicable, cargo insurance is raised here, not at the end.

4

We coordinate and follow through

Documentation, pickup, transit and, where applicable, the border crossing. We update you at the main stages, within business hours.

5

We close the operation

We confirm delivery and organize the shipment's documentation.

Where the line is

Cardinal Point, directly

  • Operation analysis and quoting
  • End-to-end coordination
  • Communication and follow-up with you
  • Incident handling as single point of contact

Coordinated with specialized providers

  • Ground, air, and ocean transport
  • Customs clearance
  • Cargo insurance
  • Warehousing and cross-dock

The provider changes with the operation. The point of contact does not.

When something doesn't go as planned

Cardinal Point is your point of contact and coordinates the resolution with the responsible provider.

Delay

We flag it as soon as we detect it and propose alternatives while there is still room to act. The goal is to reduce operational and financial impact, not to explain it afterwards.

Customs inspection or requirement

We review documentation before the cargo moves, to reduce surprises. If an inspection, rejection, or requirement comes up, we coordinate with the relevant provider to clear the operation.

Damage or loss

When applicable, cargo insurance is addressed from the quote onward. If an incident occurs, we support you through the documentation, the review, and the coordination of the process with the relevant party.

COVERAGE

One network, three countries.

North America is our operating core. We coordinate cargo to and from other markets with specialized providers, based on route, mode, and availability.

International Routes

Mexico · United States · Canada

Our core is domestic service within Mexico and the USMCA corridor: ground freight inside the country, customs, and border crossings across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Beyond that corridor we coordinate international routes on demand with specialized providers.

OUR CORE

Mexico and the corridor, end to end

Domestic service within Mexico and coordinated coverage across the United States and Canada to run the full USMCA corridor. Subject to route and availability.

BEYOND THE CORRIDOR

From the corridor to the world

Cargo going beyond North America? We coordinate international routes on demand with specialized providers, based on route, mode, and availability.

RECURRING OPERATIONS

From one shipment to a program

When an operation repeats, the route, the providers, the documentation, and the timing are defined once and executed the same way every month.
